Branch Meetings

 

The meetings for 2010 will take place at the Cleveland Police Federation offices at Ashfield House, 46 Yarm Road, Stockton on Tees.  We have been made very welcome as you will find if you able to attend.  The meetings for 2010 have been arranged for  1.30pm on  Thursday 23rd September and Thursday 18th November 2010.

 

 Directions to the offices are as follows: -

 

From Hartburn Traffic Lights travel north along Yarm Road to the Catholic Church.  Immediately past the church turn left into Spring Street.  The offices are the first building on your right.  Turn right into the car park.  For those travelling south from Yarm Lane, pass the Police Hostel and turn right before the Catholic Church into Spring Street.

Social Events

 

I am including some items here that have previously been shown as items of interest but they are run by members for the benefit of all retired officers.  Hopefully this will be the start of a wider range of events available to you.

 

1.  The Christmas Social will take place on Monday 13th December 2010 at the Marton Hotel and Country Club.

 

2.  The Stockton Reunion will take place at West End Bowling Club, Hartburn Lane, Stockton on 10th December 2010 from 12.15pm onwards. 

 

3.  Colin Gibson is retiring shortly having run the force Golf Section for the last 13 years.  He is trying to compile a list of retired golfers, and those who used to play but would like to keep in touch, for regular, or annual events.    The Serving Police Officers vs Retired Officers Annual Match is to take place on Friday 17th September 2010 at Kirkby Moorside Golf Club.  As with the past 2 years 10 players per side are required.  Colin has said that any former players or friends who would like to attend the lunch during the event would be most welcome.  If you are interested in playing, adding your name to the list of retired players, or would just like to attend the lunch please contact Colin on 01642/504108 – 07811860218 or email turnberrycol@ntlworld.com. 

 

.Friendship Club.

The Friendship Club continues to meet on the second Wednesday of each month at the Marton Hotel and Country Club, or other locations where they have arranged an event. They are still getting new members but if any other widow members would like to attend please let me know so I can pass on your details to the organiser.
